Patricia Di Giorgio

MACP, RP (QUALIFYING) | PSYCHOTHERAPIST (QUALIFYING)

Patricia Di Giorgio is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). Patricia received her Honours Bachelor of Arts degree at York University and her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology Degree at Yorkville University. Patricia’s education and work experience in the mental health sector have helped her develop the knowledge, skills, and competency needed to provide compassionate, evidence-based psychotherapy tailored to fit each client’s unique needs. Patricia works under the supervision of Dr. Kim Arbus, C.Psych., and Dr. Suzy Weidenfelder, C.Psych., to provide individual psychotherapy to adolescents and adults navigating a wide range of mental health difficulties.

Patricia takes an integrative, collaborative, and holistic approach to her work with clients. She blends a variety of therapeutic strategies such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS). Taking a biopsychosocial approach, she emphasizes building a strong therapeutic relationship by exploring the foundation of who clients are beyond the therapy room- their values, strengths, interests, relationships, daily routines, and past experiences, to best support the therapeutic process. She brings her warmth, wit, and wonder into sessions to create a space where clients feel safe and heard to explore, reflect, and grow.
