She is excited to join the Vaughan Psychologists team as a doctoral intern under the supervision of Dr. Weidenfelder and Dr. Arbus.
Briana is passionate about helping adolescents and adults navigate life’s challenges and build a life that feels authentic and fulfilling. She works with individuals facing a variety of concerns, including depression, bipolar disorder, generalized anxiety, social anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), complex trauma, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, burnout, and perfectionism. Briana also has a strong interest in supporting individuals diagnosed with autism and AD/HD, helping to deepen their self-understanding, embrace their identity, and advocate for their needs in ways that truly align with who they are.
Her approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s unique needs. Briana draws on a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including emotion-focused therapy (EFT), cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), narrative therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy to support clients in building self-awareness and reaching their goals. She strives to create a welcoming space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to move forward with confidence.
